This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

The case with customer number is a reasonable exception. How about prompting all values, but preloading the previous values in the parameters? That is already a requested idea. If that is not possible, perhaps all variables with the same name could be populated with the same value.
We understand the request and will consider it for a future update though no commitment is made nor implied.

The attached image of the parameter prompt dialog lacks the context of the SQL statement.
Not knowing the specific use case, if one were to assume the following as the source SQL, it would seem to be necessary to prompt for each instance of cusno.
select * from orders
where cusno <> ? -- 1500
and cusno > ? -- 1000
and cusno < ? -- 2000
and date = ? -- current_date
Please explain the desired behavior for the case where the same value would be provided for each instance.
