Toggle the way BRMS handles message ID CPD33A8

Dear IBM Team,

Our organization supports a large number of IBM i customers, and our monitoring tools generate alerts whenever a backup failure occurs. I'd like to propose an enhancement that introduces a configurable option (e.g., a toggle setting) to prevent message CPD33A8 from causing a backup to fail.

We understand that spool files in use at the time of backup would not be saved, and we accept that limitation. While known problematic spool file jobs or users can be excluded using the QALLSPLF object or specific spool file lists, in practice, we find that many of our customers do not have a consistent or predictable set of spool files to omit. As a result, predefined omission lists are not a reliable or sustainable solution across our customer base.

Implementing this enhancement would allow greater flexibility in managing backup operations, reducing unnecessary failure alerts while maintaining expected data integrity and operational control.

Thank you for considering this request.
