Manage SSP disk snapshot

Our company is using POWERVC to deploy AIX LPAR on our Power systems using SSP disks. We need to use the powervc interface to manage the SSP snaphots, so we could use this funcnionality without the need to access the VIOs directly. By manage, we mean, create, and delete, as needed.

Thank you for the suggested enhancement! At present, the primary functional objective of PowerVC is on virtualization and cloud management - so the unit of management is centered around the virtual machine. At this time, we do not intend to use PowerVC as an interface into managing all aspects of the shared storage pools, but rather do that "indirectly" by way of performing VM deploy, capture and deletion operations. For storage-centric tasks, we suggest using the storage interfaces--in the case of SSP, that is the VIOS. Thanks again for the suggestion and we're glad you're using PowerVC to manage your virtual infrastructure!
