viosecure -level high should set default firewall rules to denied for inbound traffic

After applying vioscure level 'high', the default firewall rule 0 permits all IP packages, if an IP package does not met any rules. This make the firewall settings useless if you want to permit only a certain host or netwerk id.


The proposed solution is one of the following below:

a) Set default firewall rules for Ipv4 and IPv6 to 'deny' and allow all outbound traffic for 'viosecure level high' using commands
# mkfilt -z D
# genfilt -v 4-a P -s 0.0.0.0 -m 0.0.0.0 -w O
# genfilt -v 6-a P -s 0.0.0.0 -m 0.0.0.0 -w O

b) Add default permit or deny option as an argument to the 'viosecure -firewall' command.

Additional rules to allow inbound access can be configured using standard 'viosecure -firewall' commands.

Also the viosecure -firewall command should be enhanced to create rules based on a network id like 192.168.1.1/16; not only by host or ALL (0.0.0.0/0)

    Request a) can be considered. Require thorough testing.
    Request b) requires enhancement on AIX IPsec firewall. Investigation is going on regarding revamp AIX host firewall capability. This will take some time to resolve.
