Remove SEU product offering

With the availability of numerous modern development platforms, SEU should be removed from the next release of IBM i. This would help facilitate the acceptance of modern practices and tooling.

RPG Language Feature - Variable Triggers - Computed Properties

Languages like Apple's Swift, Java, Python, C# have this fantastic feature called "Computed Properties". Think of them as "variable triggers". If new phrasing can be added to RPG's Dcl-S when defining a work variable, that would specify logic to b...

Better support for RMC and Novalink

Currently, firmware updates rely on an RMC connection between the HMC and the individual AIX/Linux partitions. Also, Cloud Management Console relies on an RMC connection to the individual partitions to obtain some of its data. We would like Novali...

Please make the newer HMC models like the 7063-CR1 & 7063-CR2 models be able to read USB flash drives formatted as exFAT or NTFS. The latest service pack ISO file for V10R1 (Service Pack 1021) is 5 GB and is too large to go on a USB drive formatted as FAT32. The HMC is onlt able to read FAT32 formatted flash drives so I can't do my service pack update using a USB flash drive. I have to perform using the network method which is a bit more cumbersome. If the HMC was updated to allow USB format exFAT or NTFS then I could do ISO updates that are larger than 4 GB using the USB flash drive like I have always done in the past. Thanks.

Makes it more convenient for everybody using the HMC to do updates.

It would be easier to manage ciphers in the system value using the 2-digit codes simply because ciphers also have to be managed in SST (SSLCONFIG/TLSCONFIG) where the 2-digit code in required when adding/removing ciphers to the eligible list. Give...

Replace native trigger while active

When there's a need to replace a high level language trigger, an exclusive lock is required to the program object. In a 24/7 system this is almost impossible what makes the use of triggers a no-go. Programs in use (apart from triggers) can be repl...
