Retrieving Events/Alerts in CMC from API

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Currently, the IBM Cloud Management Console (CMC) provides notifications of events and alerts only via email and SMS. This limits the ability to integrate CMC with other monitoring, ticketing, and automation systems. We propose adding a RESTful API endpoint that allows users to:

  • Query for events and alerts: Filter by time range, severity, source, type, and other relevant criteria. The API should return structured data (e.g., JSON) containing all relevant information about each event/alert.

  • Acknowledge or close alerts: Provide endpoints to modify the status of alerts, allowing for integration with ticketing systems and automated response workflows.
