This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This feature was delivered in version 9.6.
i Project short cut key Alt+Shift+B can now be used to launch a project build and Ctrl+Alt+R can be used from within the editor to retrieve errors from the last project build
The feature that is described in this request is a candidate for a future release.
Alt-Shift-B for submit build
Ctrl-Alt-R for retrieve errors
with those 2, you never have to take your hands off the keyboard in order to push, build and get error feedback.
Since push functionality is included with Submit Build, we are considering just doing Submit Build and another action to Retrieve Errors. So with those 2 keys you have the errors in your editor.
Note that Retrieve Errors will pull in the errors for the last build, so you have to wait until the build is finished.
Open another RFE if you would like there to be more logic to automatically wait for the job to complete and then automatically retrieve the errors.
