Provide access to Null Indicator for SQL Variables in inline C code

When creating SQL Functions, we have the ability to use the INCLUDE statement to include inline C code. However, when an SQL Variable is referenced in that C code, there is no practical method to set on or off the variable's NULL Indicator. We need a way to do that in the C code that is inlined.

Use Case:

When INCLUDE mylib/qcsrc(rtvobjd); is specified and that member has C code in it. any variables declared in the body of the Function using DECLARE myVar varchar(10); have an associated Null Indicator generated. However unlike the variable itself, the null indicator is named based on the variable's sequence number. So it makes it impossible to reference in the C code. The variable should be named using the variable name and scope rather than a sequence number. so that it can be reliably referenced. Just like A.MYVAR.DAT and A.MYVAR.LEN, the null indicator for MYVAR should be named A.SQL_I_MYVAR
rather than SQLP_I87

IBM will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. This request will be updated in the future if IBM implements it.

IBM has received the requirement and is evaluating it. IBM will provide a response after evaluation is complete.
