This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

The request to select a specific certificate during configuration of web admin is a good suggestion, but the lack of this feature does not prevent any functionality.
There are a few tasks that are accomplished when configuring TLS/SSL web admin using the Configure SSL for ADMIN wizard. A new application identifier is added to the registry information, the admin-cust.conf file is correctly updated to use this new application identifier, and a certificate is created and assigned to the new application identifier. To use a different certificate instead of the one created and assigned, use DCM (Digital Certificate Manager) and assign your needed certificate to the newly added application identifier instead of the system generated one. This extra step provides the functionality you need to meet the requirement.
Additional people are added to the RFE that are in charge of the Web Admin GUI for their involvement and decision on adding the feature to their GUI.
