This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

When running a SQL statement in ACS the results are displayed including the column headers. From this result window you can only copy/paste selected data, not column headers.
If you want to select some sql output to copy/paste into an email (for example) it would be very nice if you can copy/paste the column headers too (using CTL-C and CTL-V).

Right-click on the column headings and click on Details. There you get a list of the columns, and you can copy from there the column names in a comma-separated list. I use this often to get a subset of columns to paste into the column list of a SELECT.
You can also get the column list with data types, again, comma-separated. That could be used, if creating a table, perhaps. I've not used that feature yet, myself.

there are times where you only want/need a couple of the rows/columns.
being able to select the column names will make this process easier/quicker.
IBM understands this request and will consider it for a future code update, though no commitment is made or implied.
IBM has received this requirement and is evaluating it. A response will be provided when evaluation is complete.
Right click on results and choose "save results" will copy headers and data to a spreadsheet.
If you save the results to a XLS you have the headers as well.
