Add a Save Results As... option to the File or Tools menu.

Having to launch the 1980's File Transfer Program to pull down data is embarrassing. When I have a resultset in the lower pane, I should be able to simply save that resultset as XLSX or CSV to my local PC.

This support is already in ACS. You just need to enable that preference. Under the preferences link under the General tab, the last option, 'Enable saving of results'. Turn that on and once you have a results set you can select to save that to a number of file types.

Not exactly sure if I understand this idea, but it sounds like you are talking about the Run SQL Scripts (ACS RSS)?

If so, the functionality already exist, however, you need to enable the option to save the results, for some reason I can not understand, it is disabled by default.

To enable, open a Run SQL Scripts and choose "Edit" > "Preference" and make sure "Enable saving of results" is selected.

You can the save results as txt, csv, xls, xlsx, ods or dsr files by right click on the results and choose "Save results.."
