This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. After evaluating your submission, the decision at this time is to not provide this support.
The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a “nice to have” low priority feature.
Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

Hi Jeff ... I'm sorry that I am unable to provide a link to the PMR but can tell you that the cause of the small font on the print screen is due to how the screen is defined in DDS. In this case, the DDS defines the display size as 27x132 ( DSPSIZ(27 132 *DS4) ). If the screen were defined as 24x80, the font would be larger. In this instance, the screen size is defined as 27x132 but only 80 characters of the screen are used so it is not obvious to the user that the screen is any wider than 80 columns. However, the print screen function is using the display size and adjusting the font size accordingly to fit the screen on the page without any truncation. Thus, a work around would be to change the DDS for the display to be 24x80.

IBM has received this requirement and is evaluating it. A response will be provided when evaluation is complete.
I don't see the same behavior as you reported. My local screen print function prints the screen using the top half of an 8 1/2 x 11 page using a very readable monspaced, serif font. I could not access your PMR for the details. Can you provide a link to it?
