Default 5250 Session Font

Hello, Please make the ACS - PCOMM SESSION font the default font for 5250 screens. I was frustrated with the ACS 5250 screens not using all the windows space of my sessions, but I change my font the PCOMM SESSION and now it perfect. Using all of what ever size I make the session window.


Use Case:

More appealing and usable for the ed user, and has no cost.

    Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. After evaluating your submission, the decision at this time is to not change the current default font from IBM3270. There are a variety of factors to consider. In additional to a user's preference and environment, language must also be taken into consideration. However, you can easily change the default for new 5250 sessions and your users (if you are an administrator) by selecting Communication--> Set As Default Profile. Selecting that after you have configured everything the way you want will make all new 5250 session configurations use those settings. It will not change any existing saved configurations.

    PCOMM SESSION is neither perfect as it "changes" its look during scaling… Lucida Console is better in my opinion.

    I like the idea of this RFE, not enough people know about the Scaleable Font option in ACS. But I know how IBM hate to change a default as it gets as many complaints as it does thanks.

    If this RFE is accepted, could I suggest a compromise, where during the setup questions, there was an extra dialogue that says "Would you like to use scalable PCOM font as 5250 default?"
