This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

In addition to trying suggestions made by others (Font Scaling, Font Antialiasing, Font Name) at Edit->Preferences->Appearance->Font... , you should also try adjusting the size of the 5250 window. Also, if you are still using JDK 8, I'll suggest moving to JDK 11 since JDK 8 is not DPI aware. There are free versions of Java 11 here:
https://adoptopenjdk.net/
https://aws.amazon.com/corretto/
If you are still not able to improve the appearance, you can open a call with our Service team.
Greetings
Have you tried changing the font to PCOMM and enabling scalable fonts option, I think this might give you a work around in the short term
Best wishes Steve
You might want to switch to a different font. Lucide Console is what I tend to use, although I used to use the Letter Gothic BOLD font as well. Lucide seems to be the only font that looks okay on ACS, although be sure to set the Scale option and toggle the Anti Alias check-box to see which setting works best for you.
