ACS Console shortcut

The new Access client solutions does not allow a console shortcut to be created to the desktop. Can one be created. As we start installing the console software, this has been their one complaint.
Thanks.

Use Case:

some users require convenience and simplicity.

As the previous post has suggested, it is possible to have a shortcut to a console on your desktop. You can duplicate the product shortcut on your desktop. Appropriately rename the new shortcut to something that identities it as a console. Modify the Properties by adding the following to the Target path "/plugin=console /system=<your_system>" so it looks like:
    C:<some_path>\Start_Programs\Windows_x86-64\acslaunch_win-64.exe /plugin=console /system=<your_system>
Make sure you have defined the console configuration for <your_system> using System Configurations, select and Edit <your_system>, select the Console tab, set the console configuration.

There are several ACS plugins, and there are four that relate to an operator console:
    console,vcp,consoleprobe,hmcprobe

If you copy the ACS desktop icon, right-click, properties, then change the "target" to also include "/PLUGIN=console" (no quotes) then doesn't that give you what you want? This info is in section 9.1.18 of the Documentation/GettingStarted.html file in your ACS installation directory.

If this isn't the "console" you mean, then you need to be more specific.
