This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

When creating a console session through ACS System Configuration, the options are "Save" or "Save as multiple sessions." We would like these sessions to be saved with the other HOD files when 5250 Session Manager is opened, aand a "Save As" function that allows this would make it much easier.

If you want to have a 5250 console session in the 5250 Session Manager window, you can create a new display session and enter the HMC as the destination address and port 2300 (non-secure!) or 2301 (TLS/SSL encrypted).
This will connect to the HMC instead of to an IBM i system / partition, and you will be able to select the system + partition console to connect to.
You can also add macros to guide the user to a specific system + partition once logged in.
