Critical Message Filter on Operator Message for IBM Navigator for i Interface

The Dashboard within IBM Navigator for i has a window for tracking critical messages. This count is only reduced when the messages are deleted from QSYSOPR.

As this message queue contains so many messages, this window can become meaning less.

It would become much more useful if we could add a couple of filters.

1) Messages requiring a reply

2) A time period, such as messages added to the queue in the last x minutes. Where is a variable that the use could set.

Use Case:

This dashboard is idea for SysAdmins to put up on a central display so that key IBM i Systems can be monitored by a central team.

The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed.

This enhancement will make the message information in the dashboard more usable.
