SQL Formatting options

Please allow for the selection of formatting features on a per user basis.

Right now when you format SQL it performs all actions of formatting.

Use Case:

In ACS RSS tool, Edit, SQL Formatter, configure. In the open dialog I would like the ability to uncheck the "Indent:" features . I would leave the Case formatting for keywords and identifiers checked. The using the formatter command (CTRL+SHIFT+F) my statement would only change in the word case. Upper to lower and vise versa.

IBM has received this requirement and is evaluating it. A response will be provided when evaluation is complete.

Looking at the attached PDF of images you can see I am at 1.1.7.2 and no tabs set. The keywords all lower cased just like I wanted but the entire statement was reformatted. I don't want this I wanted just the case conversion.

    Hi Matt,
I just tried this on v1.1.7.2 and it does what you're asking it to do.
So I would say you either don't have v1.1.7.2 or there may be a bad configuration record stored on your PC.
FYI, I'm running on an Apple PC, not a Windows PC so perhaps that is where the probable could be occurring for you.
But as I said, "it works for me".

I am using version 1.1.7.2, setting the indent to 0 does not do what I want. The formatter still reformat the statement based on apparently hidden rules.

I just want the case conversion formatting.

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM not implement this request because the function already exists on version 1.1.7.2 of ACS Run SQL Scripts.

Set the indent value to 0, and that removes the indent.
