SMTP timeout and message for Infoprint Server

Our business uses Infoprint Server to create PDF files of order, packaging and shipping information. Intermittently, spooled files will remain in PRT status and all emails stop sending until the writer is ended and restarted.
The issue has been identified as a connection issue and Infoprint Server is waiting for a response from JavaMail.

Use Case:

Infoprint Server is currently working as designed and will wait indefinitely for a response from JavaMail. An SMTP timeout and message are necessary to prevent Infoprint Server from waiting indefinitely for a response and a message issued to alert users to the situation. A message such as PQT4139:
Message . . . . : Cannot connect to mail servers specified for device &1. (C R)
Cause . . . . . : Either the mail server(s) (PDFMAILSVR) specified in the PSF configuration object are not available (this may be a temporary condition) or the mail server names or IP addresses are incorrect.
Recovery . . . : To retry the connection, type an R. To cancel the printer writer, type a C.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- To cancel the printer writer, type a C.
R -- To retry the mail servers, type an R.

This enhancement to the resiliency of the Infoprint Server product would provide benefits.
