Save default user name of connection

When building a deployment template (Export configuration) we have the setting com.ibm.iaccess.ResetDefaultUserOnImport=true which blanks out the user that was used at that time, however the actual user now has to enter his user each time.

We should have an option to say that IBM i ACS should remember the last user used, or update the Default connection user on the system configuration.

Use Case:

When importing a configuration in IBM i ACS the user always needs to enter his user name (it doesn't remember the last used user).

As previously stated, if the "Default user name" is not set when the user gets prompted, it should be set after the user gets prompted. Upon further investigation, we have found an issue where the "Default user name" was not always getting updated. This would cause the user to get prompted until the "Default user name" was eventually set. To get a fixed version, contact our Service team, reference this RFE and ask for the latest test fix.

To manually set the default user, you can:
    1. Select System Configurations from the main ACS GUI
    2. Select the system, then Edit
    3. Select the Connection tab
    4. Select the option "Use default user name to prompt once for each system"
    5. Fill in the "Default user name"
    6. Apply/Ok

If "Use default user name to prompt once for each system" is set and the "Default user name" is not set, it should remember the name provided from the last time you are prompted. If this is not happening, open a call with our Service team.

If I understand you correctly, this may help. Here's what I do. On the user's PC, open the main ACS window, and on the menu at the left select "System Configurations." Then for the appropriate system name, click "Edit." Go to the Connection tab, select "Use default user name to prompt once for each system," and put in the desired user name.
