IBM i QMGTOOLS RUNAA request parameter enhancement
For the QMGTOOLS RUNAA command, add the value *IODD to the list of currently available request values (See http://www-01.ibm.comsupportdocview.wss?uid=nas8N1010377)
When run via System Service Tools - Advanced Analysis, the IODD macro supports a large number of functions. If the *IODD request can be added to the allowed requests for the RUNAA command, enable at least the following data values: - getMeasurements <resourceName> [MP], - getCounts <rscname>
Even better would be to allow for all the IODD functions to be specified via the RUNAA command.
One example is the IODD macro spool output being used to record and monitor the Read and Write block values for our SSD devices (i.e. IODD function getCounts <rscname>) The collection and exporting of the data (i.e. into an Excel worksheet) can be fully automated.
