This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

The CAAC has reviewed this Idea and recommends that IBM view this as a high priority requirement that is important to be addressed. CAAC believes providing this information on a PTF screen would be useful to a wide section of the community, and adding an IBM i Service would also be helpful.

When using the WRKPTFGRP command, the cumulative PTF package is also displayed. One could say that the cumulative PTF package is just another group PTF, we only call it different ;-)
With that in mind, when looking at the latest cumulative PTF package details with option 5, the PTF TC21238 and TA21238 are listed, when using option 5 against them the "Symptom strings" are "MARKER PTF".
If my understanding is correct the apply date of these PTFs will tell you when the cum pack was installed.
The customer did ask us when was the latest Security group PTF installed. That is a fair question I guess. I am not arguing that maybe this has little value, but when audited having the answer ready does not do any harm, does it?
As IBM is making us to think in group PTFs, which does make sense. Working with install dates for group PTF is logical. At least for the customer, given their question ;-)
No idea if the apply date of the most recent PTF of a group PTF is any indication ?
