I am thankful for IBM providing the SAVRSTOBJ command (as well as the other SAVRST commands). However in our network we have some systems that use a different RMTNETID for the APPC connections. As instructions state if you can use the STRPASTHR command to make a connection, then SAVRSTOBJ will use the same network path. However since some of our system have a different RMTNETID the SAVRSTOBJ command fails since it cannot find the route to the destination system.
Please provide a RMTNETID parameter on the SAVRSTxxx commands.

As announced in https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6379114, ObjectConnect was enhanced to run over TCP directly without EE since 7.4. There are two enhancements in this native TCP support.
1. It provides better security protection for the data when flying over network.
2. It also provides better performance on advanced network adapter.
It is suggested to adopt this new feature rather than running over SNA. The detailed step can be found in https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6343185.
Note: The TCPIP support can co-exist with existing SNA configurations. IBM will still provide fixes for defects identified with ObjectConnect over SNA.
