When i use JSON_OBJECT into a VARCHAR who is returning from an API rest the values of KEY contains back slash before quotation marks.
When i use a DS the result is OK but if i want to use JSON SQL functions i have the above problem.
Is it possible to obtain results without back slash like a JSON that is mapped into Error Response Output parameter ?
Thanks for your help

Hello
Function JSON_OBJECT works well but when the JSON goes back through IWS server the JSON contains back slash
Regards
Db2 for i adds escape characters when it does not know that the data is already formatted as JSON. By adding the FORMAT JSON clause, the string is assumed to be correctly formed JSON and additional escape characters are avoided.
There is an example of this in the SQL Programming content in IBM Documentation. You can access it at the following link:

Not sure where you get the problem and what exactly you do ... but SQL Functions will automatically mask " and \ with an additional Backshlash (\). If you want to include something in a JSON_OBJECT (or JSON_ARRAY) that is already JSON and you do not want it to be changed, add FORMAT JSON after the Value:
JSON_OBJECT('YourKey': YourValueNotToBeChanged FORMAT JSON)
