When deletes are done against the file system, that storage is not unmapped. It appears as though it only gets unmapped if you remove a lvm and nothing more granular.

configuration parameter needs to be logged when exceeded

maxuproc : specifies the maximum number of user processes allowed. When this number is exceeded some programs behave unpredictable and there is know way to know what the problem is since it is not logged (errpt nor syslog)

It is not possible to set SA idle timeout. There is no way to clear out SA if other peer not responding or gone without tearing down SA.
