When deletes are done against the file system, that storage is not unmapped. It appears as though it only gets unmapped if you remove a lvm and nothing more granular.

AIX SAN adapter driver support for new RDP ELS

Unfortunately, the AIX adapter driver still does not support the new RDP ELS - even on the newer SAN adapters.Are there any plans to implement support for the RDP ELS as this is very common by all SAN vendor.

configuration parameter needs to be logged when exceeded

maxuproc : specifies the maximum number of user processes allowed. When this number is exceeded some programs behave unpredictable and there is know way to know what the problem is since it is not logged (errpt nor syslog)
