Today in a DSPF you have the option for DSPSIZ:
24x80 *DS3
27x132 *DS4
Would it possible for the 5250 datastream to add a third option like:
21x28 *DS2
additionally would it possible to add a larger screen size as *ds5?
A normal user have a display with 24".
A tablet user have a display with 11".
A mobile user have a display with like 5,5" today.
And bigger screen with 27" come into the office.

IBM has no plans to update the DSPF and 5250 support
I highly doubt any change is ever going to be made to the 5250 data stream again. It's a shame as it isn't really a bad interface, but with the Web college kid world we live in today, that's what IBM panders to. '
