We will not be providing the ability to use the OS credentials. However, we have already provided an option that enables credentials to be shared between multiple IBM i configurations so that the user only needs to enter their credentials one time after they log in to their PC. The first time they try to connect to an IBM i after logging in, they will be prompted one time. The credentials will be cached until the user logs out. To enable this feature, go to System Configurations. Edit each system where you would like to share credentials and select the Connection tab. Select the option "Use shared credentials". Each system where this option is enabled will now use a cached copy of the credentials.
