This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

BM believes that the request described has been solved, although the front page has not been changed. The "What's New Since 7.3" and "What's New Since 7.4" sections now indicate when the section was last updated, and they indicate approximately when each enhancement was added.
The specific PTFs required for the enhancements are not listed, but the "Whats New Since" pages do have a link to a support page that lists the PTFs.
And if you could specify the PTF one need to require, it would be perfect.
IBM will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. This request will be updated in the future if IBM implements it. IBM will use votes and comments from others in the community to help prioritize this request.
However, RPG enhancements are made available through PTFs at the same time as the TRs, but they are not actually part of the TRs. So the TR level will not be added to the front page of the manual. Instead, a note will be added to each enhancement in the "What's New Since 7.3" or "What's New Since 7.4" section of the manuals, indicating the year and month when the enhancement became available.
Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - Power Systems
Product - IBM i
Component - Languages - RPG
Operating system - IBM i
Source - None
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - Power Systems
Product - IBM i
Component - Documentation
Operating system - IBM i
Source - None
Good idea. The front cover should include the TR level, for example "IBM i, Version 7.2/TRnn". Operations and functions should mention since when they are available, for example "Since: 7.2/TRnn".
