Provide a Tile Session Window option in IBM ACS for IBM i

Provide a way to do a so called Tile arrangement of the 5250 session windows in ACS.


Use Case:

I support over a dozen remote Power systems with IBM i installed. Using ACS I open green-screens to those session and have an app open and running.
I want to be able to easily arrange the open 5250 windows in a tile/matrix fashion for easy access. And yes, I have a 55-inch 4k monitor that I'm using for these purposes so screen real estate isn't an issue.

    I guess we'll have to continue waiting for ease-of-use enhancements to ACS to get end-user buy-in.

    Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. Mac provides a way to setup and use multiple Desktops called spaces. See https://support.apple.com/en-is/guide/mac-help/mh14112/mac
    This allows you to arrange your 5250 sessions on a separate Desktop and to easily switch between Desktops. Once you have the 5250 sessions arranged, you can save their current arrangement using File-->Save As Multiple Sessions... to a bchx file. Then when you need to restart the sessions, use the 5250 Session Manager to run the saved bchx file.

    We are not aware of any issues with the tab's Close and Detach icons not appearing. Make sure you are using the latest version and then report any issues to our Service team. As a suggestion, if you have lots of tabs, you may want to consider configuring the tabs to be on the Right or Left of the panel instead of the Top (default) using Edit-->Preferences-->Tab Setup...
