creation of folder in IACS

Folders for Ibm Access Client Solutions

Use Case:

Would it be possible to create for Ibm Access Client Solution as for System i Navigator I some folders, this allowed to group the various connection by environment, instead of having all of the systems in the same window.

You can already maintain multiple configurations. See the article https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/ibmi/library/i-ibmi-access-client-solutions-2/index.html and section "Importing a configuration: Suggestion for administrator". This section explains how to maintain multiple configurations by changing the com.ibm.iaccess.AcsBaseDirectory property in the AcsConfig.properties file. Another way to accomplish this would be to have multiple deployments on the same PC where each deployment had its own unique configuration by setting com.ibm.iaccess.AcsBaseDirectory to a different location.

    Does this meet the requirement?
