This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Provide an IBM i Service that allows users to query the RFE database from their IBM i server.
All details shown on the website / available when downloaded, should be returned; including comments that could be "concatenated" into a (DB)CLOB column.
Where an RFE has been delivered the relevant PTF information should also be provided, for all supported releases. This would allow for further processing to "automatically" download the solution.
Manually having to login to the RFE web page and download current information of submitted RFEs is tedious and the Excel spreadsheet returns the dates in MM/DD/YYYY format; not the most user friendly of date formats if sorting is required and confusing for those outside of the USA where a date looks like it is either in the future or invalid!
An IBM i / Db2i service would be easier to use / query / download data etc.

IBM does not intend to provide a solution to this request at this time, so it is being closed.
While we believe this is an interesting idea, the infrastructure to tie RFEs to the corresponding PTFs would be difficult to implement and maintain. It would be possible to return the existing RFE information through a service, but due to the high number of other requests for new/enhanced services, it is unlikely that this service would be developed any time soon.
As a result of this request, we have asked for the addition of a JSON feed to access the RFE information. We believe this would be a more programmer-friendly interface for accessing RFEs. We will update this RFE when we have information on this related enhancement.
