Context-sensitive help for embedded SQL

In embedded SQL source (e.g. SQLRPGLE) the F1 key does not pull up any relevant help pages for SQL you might want help with, but pulls up the generic help page for the free format line instead.

Please change this so that pressing the F1 key in embedded SQL source pulls up a relevant help page. Adding the "DB2 for i SQL reference" pages to the RDi "High-level Languages" section of the help will also be required if the help is locally-installed.

Use Case:

The ability to press F1 in any source member and receive context-sensitive help is invaluable. If you can't remember the format of a SQL function, or the layout of a SELECT INTO query you just position your cursor, press F1 and the help is there.

As part of the Rational Developer for i V9.5.0.3 fix pack, F1 help on ILE RPG SQL statements now go to SQL Statements page from IBM i knowledge center which has links to help for specific SQL statement help. This is the first step to implementing the feature.

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
Product - Developer for Power Systems

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
Product family - Design & development
Product - Developer for Power Systems

A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.

I agree - this feature should be available to all embedded SQL languages editable within RDi. I tried to word the RFE generically, only mentioning SQLRPGLE as an example.

Context sensitive SQL help should be available in all languages where SQL is available--i.e., COBOL, C, C++, etc.
