MGT is a great set of tools helping you when dealing with problems. The only thing it lacks is proper command help text.
Yes there are web pages available dealing with the commands available, but they are not always up to date. When looking at the command STRSFTP I found the page where the parameters are mentioned. The problem is that page does not mention the new values for the parameter Function. All what is mentions is => At the current build, the only valid parameter is *NOCFG. But what about the now available *RUNCFG, *CRTCFG, *INTERACT and *CHK4SFTP?
This is just an example of one of the commands, but there are more.
CL has a command available for creating a help text framework source file GENCMDDOC.
Although nobody likes writing documentation, but imagine having help text available in MGT. In the same way as for all the other IBM i CL commands, would that not be great?
The alternative is having to use the link available on nearly every MGT menu and discover that would you are looking for is not yet documented or not up-to-date. MGT is updated nearly every month, but the webpages appear not to be able to follow that pace, as some of them have been modified in august 2021 for the last time.
