Template for RPF fixed

The templates can only be used with the free RPG code.
Please add support for fixed RPG code.

Or reintroduce snippet support, they were perfect!

It's true, Snippets are far superior to Templates. Templates are so useless that I never use them for anything. They should get rid of Templates altogether; it was a dumb idea.

I added the Snippets view back by myself, following some instructions found on the web, but the Snippets I had in RDi 9.6 workspace were not there in 9.8 and I have not figured out a way to A) find them in my 9.6 workspace, or B) push them into 9.8 (Thanks for that, IBM). I only had a few dozen, so I copied them over by hand (ugh).

If, as the Fortra Development Team suggests, the direction is to move away from Snippets to Templates, someone over there is confused.

As a user, you can add the "Eclipse Web Developer Tools" from the Eclipse marketplace to re-enable the snippets view.

Our direction is to move from snippets to Templates. Thanks for opening this idea!

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
