Code Coverage Filter

I would like the ability to use filters with code coverage. This ability does not exist currently.

Use Case:

When unit testing a service program it may call procedures from several other service programs or even external programs. I am not necessarily interested in those other objects as they would all have their own unit tests, I would like to filter down to just the one object. I"m not sure how granular it should be...maybe filter down at least to the service program level. It would be nice to have many filtering options but a service program filter would be good enough for me. I am hoping that using a filter would also increase the performance of the code coverage tool.

We believe there is a solution for this RFE. Please contact IBM if you have any other issue.

The code coverage results can be filtered by adding and removing which programs to do code coverage analysis and yes this could improve performance.

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.

A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.
