PowerHA leaves *SYSBAS unknow

The biggest failure I have seen with PowerHa Switch or Fail over has been objects created in *SYSBAS. Most logical replication products have a tool to audit what is not being replicated. It would be great if PowerHA have an Audit tool to Compare all objects *SYSBAS on both nodes.

Use Case:

I have seen programmers create production libraries in *SYSBAS purely by mistake. Short of changing the CRTLIB command default to create a library in the IASP. This Audit tool could/should be run monthly

PowerHA now has support for Health Monitoring Dashboards. These health monitoring dashboards provide the ability to monitor for resources that can be monitored by the administrative domain, but are not yet monitored. For additional information on the monitoring dashboards see: https://helpsystemswiki.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IWT/pages/1076035611/Health+Monitoring+Dashboards

In addition, PowerHA has delivered support for SQL services. Example SQL for unmonitored resources is included in the health monitoring dashboards documentation.

For locating other new content in *SYSBAS, additional SQL queries can be used. For example, to find libraries that have been created in SYSBAS in the last 30 days: SELECT OBJNAME,OBJCREATED FROM TABLE (QSYS2.OBJECT_STATISTICS('*ALL','LIB') ) AS X WHERE IASP_NAME = '*SYSBAS' AND OBJCREATED > (CURRENT DATE - 30 DAY) ORDER BY OBJCREATED DESC

The health monitoring dashboards are powerful enough that the above query can be added to the dashboard and customized to return the desired information.

The PowerHA team agrees with the request and a solution appears to be desirable and feasible. The PowerHA team intends to provide a solution; however, the team's plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.

The PowerHA team has received the requirement and is evaluating it. The PowerHA team will provide a response after evaluation is complete.
