This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.

Thank you for your request. We would like some more detail to understand what you are asking for. Is this request to enhance the 'Compare with each other' viewer such that there is another way to copy lines from one side of the comparison to the other, other than the existing 'Copy current change to the left/right' and 'copy all non-conflicting changes to the left/right', where your new action would only copy lines rather than entire diff blocks?
I would also like to point out that you can already select code on one side, right-click and select copy, then paste on the other side. The comparison will adjust to any changes you make. Files can also be saved as usual from the compare editor. Does this satisfy your request?
