Audit log for new DCM activity

New DCM is a integrated web application server (IAS) and there is no mechanism to track/audit DCM activity.


Use Case:

The old DCM GUI can create a custom log but in the new DCM gui not is possible.

    IBM has a question about the statement provided in the description: "The old DCM GUI can create a custom log but in the new DCM gui, it is not possible."
    To ensure this enhancement is designed as desired, could you please help me understand what custom log is possible in the old DCM GUI?
    We are not aware of a logfile associated with DCM GUI except potentially the web administration job log that would contain error messages.

    The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a HIGH priority requirement that is important to address.
    Adding this functionality would help improve the security auditing of IBM i

    Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

    The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a high priority requirement that is important to be addressed. Anything related to Security should be auditable, and new interfaces should support the functions provided by older interfaces.
