IBM iSeries Client Access Software.

Launching application using
C:\Users\Public\IBM\ClientSolutions\Start_Programs\Windows_i386-32\ACSLAUNCH_WIN-32.EXE -xMX1024M /Plugin=5250 /System=COR400 /name=%clientname%

There is no option to add/adjust WORKSTATION ID

Use Case:

WE use Terminal Services. Each user requires a unique WORKSTATION ID. We use the %clientname% value.

We already support a workstation id parameter (/wsid=<identifier>). Unfortunately, it is not currently referenced in our GettingStarted documentation. Here is a copy of the updated documentation:

    /PLUGIN=5250 /SYSTEM=<system> [/<options>]

This plugin starts a 5250 emulator to the specified system.
This function is equivalent to 5250 Emulator from the main GUI.

    Valid options are:
    /id=<A-Z> - short session id
    /name=<name> - session name
    /wsid=<identifier> - workstation id
    /wide=<1|0|true|false> - use a wide screen size (27x132)
/fullscreen<1|0|true|false> - use the entire screen
/nosave=<1|0|true|false> - do not save settings on exit
/prompt=<1|0|true|false> - force the configuration dialog to appear
    /port=<port> - port number
/ssl=<1|0|true|false> - connect using secure sockets
    /sso=<1|0|true|false> - bypass signon screen
    /kerberos - Use kerberos
/width=<width> - initial width of the emulator window
/height=<height> - initial height of the emulator window
/xpos=<xpos> - initial x-coordinate position of the top-left corner of the emulator window
/ypos=<ypos> - initial y-coordinate position of the top-left corner of the emulator window
/watermark - display system name as watermark on screen
/watermark=<text> - display provided text as watermark on screen
