Update of QA1AHS when changing MEDCLS

When we change volumes media class, brms' history (file QA1AHS) is not updated, so if we want to duplicate entries with DUPMEDBRM *SCHHST we must specify the old media class instead of the actual one.

Use Case:

Duplication of media

BRMS doesn't change the backup history when a media class is changed for a volume as that could cause restore problems. The backup history represents what it was at the time of the backup and needs to be that way for the restore to work. Our thought would be to support a new CHGMEDBRM command parameter which would allow you to mark the volume full so it will not be an append candidate any longer. Would that be acceptable?

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and would like more details on what is trying to be done. Are there details in the PMR that can be summarized here?

Our thought would be to not do the media class changes...but to use the same media class but support a new CHGMEDBRM where you could mark the volume full? Would that help?
