ACS IFS Explorer - TreeSize-like functionality.

I can't seem to find a good and intuitive tool to get an overview of the IFS. It would be nice to able to look at eg. the root folder and see for each folder how many files/folders/bytes are in that folder.
Something like TreeSize for Windows' explorer interface (please see attachment). The obvious place for this would be in ACS IFS.
We don't want to create a root-share on Netserver and analyze through that for security reasons.

Use Case:

Better overview of IFS usage.
Faster pinpointing of unwanted growth.
Troubleshooting on number of IFS object growth.

Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. After evaluating your submission, the decision at this time is to not provide this support. You may want to consider asking for this feature on Navigator for i.

IBM has received this requirement and is evaluating it. A response will be provided when evaluation is complete.

    Hi,

Please have a look at this link: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_71/experience_web/ifsystem.pdf. In there is a call to a program which I think does what you want. Scan for this string: call qsrsrv parm(“METRICS” '/' “EPFS”) .

The information above is something I learned at the latest i-UG event. (an IBM i User Group in the UK, being a member of Common Europe)

    Greetings Rudi
