This is a defect best I can tell. Still not sure we would invest in correcting

Transitioning to Web - has been a goal which we have always advised to our customers. End of the day it boils down to a business approval. However having said that, the enhancement to the checkbox functionality will help in smooth transition to Web, since conversion tools/utilities can understand the use in the green screen.
Right now - we can translate 5250 screens to Web at a faster pace if the screen has similar features.
I highly doubt it's in our best interest to keep adding enhancements to the 5250 interface. Especially when you can use the web. I would recommend that the customer move to a more modern interface.
