HMC to use Novalink to proxy/relay RMC connections for AIX & Linux

In a PowerVC Novalink environment where, for security or other reasons a direct RMC connection between the HMC and AIX/Linux is not allowed, it would be advantageous if the Novalink partitions could act as a proxy/relay for RMC connectivity betwee...

HMC pedbg command single frame info

Currently the pedbg command grabs ALL relevant data from ALL the HMC's Managed Systems. This can take upwards of an hour especially when we're only interested in a single Managed System. We're requesting the pedbg command to have a switch to allow...

VM/LPARS description synced in HMC-pair (and to CMC)

We would llike to use the description field for virtual servers / LPARs in HMC, but since its not synced by default we need to update both HMCs. This extra step seems unneeded since a description for LPARs should never differ in between HMCs, ther...

We request that the System Location field be queryable from the HMC command line, similar to other fields.

In the HMC GUI, if you navigate to System Resources, then Systems, and finally System Settings, you will find fields labeled "System Location" and "Description." These fields allow for free-form text entry. Would like the ability to query these fi...

Shift pane to the right after pinning the left menu on HMC v10R2.

It's annoying that the left menu hides a lot of things once you pin it to the side. We should be able to pin it and have the right pane shift right so no words are covered.

Power10 eBMC systems : Add CLI Command to change Access Password

Using case # TS013244866 as a reference. For a Brand NEW eBMC Power10 Frame , with nothing on it, just freshly cabled up and in that state you have to enter a password and then setup the VMI. That's the password I was told cannot be done via CLI, ...

Please make the newer HMC models like the 7063-CR1 & 7063-CR2 models be able to read USB flash drives formatted as exFAT or NTFS. The latest service pack ISO file for V10R1 (Service Pack 1021) is 5 GB and is too large to go on a USB drive formatted as FAT32. The HMC is onlt able to read FAT32 formatted flash drives so I can't do my service pack update using a USB flash drive. I have to perform using the network method which is a bit more cumbersome. If the HMC was updated to allow USB format exFAT or NTFS then I could do ISO updates that are larger than 4 GB using the USB flash drive like I have always done in the past. Thanks.

Makes it more convenient for everybody using the HMC to do updates.
