SNDSMTPEMM RCP keyword reformats valid email address

We're in the process of replacing use of SNDDST with SNDSMTPEMM. Some of our group email addresses contain an embedded dash '-'. When an email address with a dash is passed to SNDSMTPEMM, the command processor reformats the address with a space ' ' on either side of the dash causing a CPD0047 "List or expression not valid for parameter RCP" error. The only work around at the moment is to enclose the email address in quotes.

Change SNDSMTPEMM to allow all special characters accepted by the SMTP standard without reformatting the address.

Use Case:

Scenario 1. Prompt SNDSMTPEMM and enter an email address with an embedded '-' dash. Press F12 then F9 and you'll see that the command formatted the address with quotes.

Scenario 2. Use SNDSMTPEMM in a CL program that retrieves email addresses from a table. When the email address with the embedded dash is included, the formatted command fails with CPD0047. Change record in table to include quotes and the command is successful.

NOTE: Example source is attached.

This is actually a Defect rather than an enhancement, please contact Service to open an APAR to address this problem.
