double click iaccess and moubtn conflict

I use MOUBTN events. When a user clicks on an area where the event should be triggered, the "trim box" appears and doesn't always trigger the MOUBTN event thus causing the user to have to double click again after removing the trim box. I dont see an option to "reassign" or "turn off" the double click trim box option.

Can that function be controlled by a setting or reassigned to another event such as alt-double click

Use Case:

Users try to click on an area of the screen controlled by MOUBTN, but are instead given the "trim box"

Please contact IBM Service relative to the PMR you provided and ask them to engage the Development team relative to this item. They will gather the necessary information needed in order for us to determine how best to proceed.
