This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Attachment (Description): rfe 139134, showing screen shot when icon is clicked multiple times
sorry, I just saw the comment made by IBM_Systems_Developer on 2 Jan.
the blank session comment was what happens when our users attempt to launch multiple sessions. we force device ID by either the computer name, or user ID... we do not want users to have multiple 5250 sessions, so the 2nd or 3rd click to launch will open a new, blank 5250 window.
Status was changed to Request for additional information.
I do not see what type of information is being requested?
The Description indicates a long delay between splash screen and the emulation session. The Use Case says there are blank sessions. Please open a ticket with our Service team so they can gather the necessary information for the issue. If you have already opened a ticket, please provide the Case number.
If they do this request, the next one will be that the splash screen stays on too long. Just tell your end users to have patience and wait. It's a good enough lesson for all of us anyway.
