No option output to Print when restore using BRMS (WRKMEDBRM)

When restoration are run using WRKMEDBRM there are no option to specify output *Print so when there are many objects not restored its difficult to check in DSPLOGBRM as no output generated to shows total restored and total not restored

    This Idea did not make the plan cut and is highly unlikely to become part of the future plans so it is being declined. The strategic BRMS restore implementation relies on output using an outfile as part the design. Only 1 value is allowed on the OUTPUT parameter, so allowing *PRINT is not impossible with the current design. This request does not fit the strategic direction for BRMS.

    The BRMS team will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. This request will be updated in the future if IBM implements it. The BRMS team will use votes and comments from others in the community to help prioritize this request.

    My answer as below :-

    The BRMS team needs more information to further assess your Request for Enhancement. When using WRKMEDIBRM to do restores, BRMS does offer the output option for recoveries of *OUTFILE which can be specified. This is accessible using WRKMEDIBRM Option 7 to restore a library, then selecting F9 Recovery defaults and changing the restore command defaults output options for recoveries. Were you aware of this option and saying *OUTFILE is not helpful enough?
    [Aizuddin]Yes, I aware there is outfile parameter in the WRKMEDIBRM during restore operation but it will difficult for Operator to query the outfile to get the output.

    Is this request for the addition of the *PRINT on this interface?
    [Aizuddin] Yes, If there is output *PRINT in the parameter on the , we will get the details of object has been restored/not restored in the first glance and it will be easier for operator.

    What is the comparison to native that is mentioned, using RSTLIB command with the parameter OUTPUT(*PRINT)?
