The BRMS development team would like to know more information about the use case behind this request.

How many active volumes are being used for this environment and what is the expiration criteria for these active volumes?
How long are the volumes remaining active in the cloud location?

When using IBM Cloud Storage Solutions for i with BRMS, the prefix length can be adjusted from three down to one character to allow for a larger maximum number of volumes. Additionally, the size of the volumes can be adjusted better to fit the current backup to possibly reduce the amount of volumes being generated. Would changing the prefix to one or two characters be acceptable or would changing the volume size help?
