RDI: Synchronize settings, filters etc between RDI on more PCs

I would like to have the possibility to save the settings, member filters etc in my home directory on the IBM i my RDI is connected to. And when reconnecting later the settings should be synchronized with what is previously saved.

What should be synchronized should be set up in the settings.
Of course it is not necessary to save sources saved offline due to the fact that you are connected to the development machine.

This process should of course be handled automatically without my interference.

Use Case:

If I'm working on a project where I'm creating different member filters, settings etc on one PC I would like to have these changes replicated to another PC when I'm working on it.

For example I have a project with a member filter of files located on the development machine ( IBM i ) on my PC at work. Then when I come home I want to do some programming using another PC there. When I log on to the development machine I would like the changes in filters and settings to be synchronized so the PC at home is identical to the machine at work.
It would make things more flexible.

This RFE has been re-evaluated.  Due to the relatively low number of votes, this RFE is now being declined.

The part talking about automatically synchronize the settings starts from 8:30 in the video. Could you check that to see if it solves your problem? Feel free to get back for any concerns you have.

I added a comment last week but it looks like it has disappeared.

It is a fine video you added. I saved the link for it.

What I'm looking for is a way to automatically synchronize the settings. If the data for the connection is saved locally on the PC then the remaining settings could be saved in the home directory in the remote system. Of course a copy could be saved on the PC so it is possible to work offline. When starting RDI on the PC on the other site I could be prompted if I want to synchronize the settings on the PC with the settings in the home directory.

Of course it could be done manually but you know it is first when you are on the other site you remember that it had to be done :-(

Why not Export/Import configuration files using a USB stick? Or simply take a copy of your Workspace?

Alternatively, allow the (local) Export of configuration files to be placed (easily) on the IFS - but without automatic distribution.
