Change the Format of downloads on ESS website to ISO

The industry standard for DVDs is ISO and it would be easier to have the downloads in this format.

Use Case:

Standard windows software doesn't have the UDF format as a source and makes creating DVDs more difficult.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Power Systems
    Product - IBM i
    Component - Install, Upgrade, Licensing
    Operating system - IBM i
    Source - None

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Power Systems
    Product - IBM i
    Component - Availability, Recovery
    Operating system - IBM i
    Source - None

IBM does not intend to provide a solution to this request at this time, so it is being closed. The images that you download from the ESS website are "binary images of DVD" .. The option on the "burning" software should be a binary copy to the physical media. If your current "burning" software does not accept the extension name of UDF, you can rename to ISO or BIN.

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM not implement this request. Times have changed -- more people are using image catalogs these days. Also, the workaround of renaming file extension to ISO is acceptable.

Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

Spot on Sean, just renaming the downloaded files from UDF to ISO works for me.

If you manually change the file extension to iso this also solves the issue.
